The Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards 2018 was held in June for the seventh time – but for the first time in Finland. Representatives from the world’s top airports, catering services and food and beverage brands gathered to network and discuss with other industry professionals.
MagnumLive was involved in the implementation of the FAB conference at Clarion Hotel Helsinki. The conference included not only lectures but also the FAB awards gala. The technical implementation of the event was jointly carried out by MagnumLive and RMC Light & Sound.
The event also featured our product, beMatrixLEDskin , which has attracted a lot of interest and is used to create very impressive implementations for events and trade fairs. The video screens for the FAB conference were built with beMatrix LEDskin (pictures 1 and 2: a large LED screen 8 x 3 meters and two additional screens on the sides, one of which is 2 x 2 meters in size).
A podium with an LCD screen was built for this event in MagnumLive’s production facilities. The content of the screen changed over the days according to the event’s program. MagnumLive was also responsible for branding the entire conference floor to match the event’s look. The colorful FAB world began with the taped doors on the 2nd floor, through the brightly branded stairs (picture 3) to the registration desk, which continued the unified event look.
In addition, MagnumLive created customized mini-stands with LCD screens (Figure 4) and beMatrix brand banners for the event's partners, which were placed in the break room of the conference lobby.
With the help of modern event technology, we transformed the space from the efficient seminar look of a daytime event to the stunning spectacle of an evening awards gala. The meticulously executed details, combined with a cohesive whole, created wow experiences throughout the event.
The event was produced in collaboration with the client, the British PR company, The Moodie Davitt Report.
